Josan, Bordian, Gațcan, Catînsusс and Covalciuc refused to perform for the National Team of Moldova
1 March 2010
Gabi Balint faces the same problem as the former head coach, Igor Dobrovolski. The offer to perform for the Moldavian National Team is not accepeted even now by all the players. Among them is Serghei Covalciuc and Vitalie Bordian, who were appointed last year the best Moldavian players. Both of them can not remember when they played for the national team fort the last time.
Covalciuc said for the Russian media that he would like to return, but answered negative to the call of the MFF Vice-president, Radu Rebeja. In turn, as usual Bordian reasons with familiar problems. Nicolae Josan said he still has problems in Anji and is not allowed to come, even though the squad from Makhachkala was able to reach the first league.
Valeriu Catînsus does not know whether to stand at Tomi Tomsk and prefers to solve up the problem at the club.
If these players might perform fo the National Team, Rostov's midfielders Alexandru Gațcan and Stanislav Ivanov said good bye for good to the squad coached by Gabi Balint. Gațcan has no longer the Moldavian passport and Ivanov does not answer to the phone.
Three other players will not perform in the first match held by Gabi Balint because of injuries - Sergiu Dadu, Denis Calincov and Serghei Laşcencov.
