Andrei Sosniţki: "Won the team which longed more for the victory"

Sheriff head coach and the coach of the foreigners team performing in the National Division commented on the friendly meeting versus the Moldavian players, in which his team was defeated with the score 2:0.

- The match turned out the way it was expected by the leadership of the Federation, coaches, fans and the players themselves. Despite the fact that it was a friendly match, it was a very interesting game, both teams looking forward the victory. Still, I understand the Moldavian players who were more motivated. They needed to show themselves to prove they are good enough to play for the National team. 

Despite the defeat I'm pleased with the game. During the training they got better acquainted with each other, had a lot of good and positive emotions, and satisfaction from the game. The only thing that was unpleasant in the match was the injury got by Timur Romanet. 

- Compare the game of the opponents in the first and second half.

- In the first half the game was more cautious. It may not have enough speed, because it was hot, as compared with the second half of the match. It is obvious that the foreigners did not want to give up, and after being scored were trying to revenge. Perhaps the second half looked more interesting for the fans.

- How does Sheriff prepare for the left games?

- The team is preparing as usual, despite the fact that three of the players were involved in today's match. We are seriosuly preparing for the left games in the championship and for the Cup final.

- What did you tell your players before the game?

- First and foremost I wanted them to fell free on the field, to understand it was not a kind of test for them. It was a friendly match, and as I said the Moldavian players were more motivated. 

- Nevertheless, how does it feel to lose?

- Loses always hurt, even in such games. But the result is not important. I was not even thinking about it.
