Olimpia central defender Maxim Hovanschi was called up to the Moldova U-21 squad again while Gheorghe Ovseannicov received a call-up to the Moldova national team.
The Bălţi footballer played in an exhibition game against Georgia on August 10 (2-2). And now he has been called up to the national team to play in the EURO 2012 qualifying stage.
Two Moldova national U-21 matches will be held in early September. The first one will be held in Tiraspol where our footballers will host Portugal while the second match will be held away. The Moldova national team will play against Albania on September 6.
Gheorghe Ovseannicov was called up to the national team to defend its colours in the EURO 2012 qualifying stage.
Our squad will play in Helsinki against Finlandon September 2 and host Hungary on September 6.
Gheorghe participated in an exhibition match against Cyprus that ended in a 3-2 victory on August 10. The Olimpia striker scored one of the two goals of our side in that game.
