Olimpia Bălţi played their first exhibition game of the summer off-season. The Bălţi side faced another Bălţi-based team, Locomotiva, that placed first in Division A based on the results of the 2010-2011 off-season.
The match was held after the Locomotiva awarding ceremony but the team that seized the victory was the side from the National Division (2-0). Both goals were scored by Nigerian international Oluwawunmi Somide. The African striker netted twice in the first half after redirecting the feed sent on a set piece and then scoring another goal.
