Olimpia drew with Zimbru

On Saturday, January 30, on the artificial field of the Zimbru stadium, Olimpia played the final game before leaving to Bulgaria.

Unfortunately, the quality of the lawn has not allowed to the players of both teams to show their best game. 

Nicolae Bunea let the following players on the field for the half: goalkeeper Mihai Paiuş, defenders: Ohad Joo, Maxim Hovanschi, Nicolae Orlovschi and Victor Verbeţchii. Midfielders: Denis Naconecinîi, Oleg Şişchin, Julius Adaramola, Mihai Pasecinic, Eugeniu Harolschi - Ukrainian player, and Oluvayunmi Somide in the offensive line. 

The hosts from the first minutes created dangerous moments at the Paiuş posts, hoping thereby to score a quick goal. But Paiuş proved a wonderful control over the situation. 

Olimpia opened the score in the 15th minute due to Somide, who sent a powerful shot, Calancea was powerless - 0:1.

Zimbru drew in the 25th minute, from the penalty kick, managed by Sidorenco - 1:1

The second half of the meeting was less interesting and there were less dangerous moments at both posts. 

The roster for the second half: goalkeeper Leonid Groza, defenders: Andrei Tcaciuc, Thomas Kourouma, Nicolae Orlov and Anatol Cernov, midfielders: Ibrahima Camara, Serghei Grădinaru, Constantin Averianov, Jean-Jerome Robens, Nicolae Glega, striker Serghei Griţuc.

The first corner kick at the Zimbru posts almost became fatal for the squad coached by Ivan Tabanov. Serrghei Grădinaru could not really get the ball in a perfect position.

At the 58th minute, Olimpia once again missed a good chance to take the control over the sgame. Constantin Averianov and Serghei Griţuc created a wonderful combination, but Calancea does his job.  

This game was the last before the trip of our team to Bulgaria. The players will leave the country on February, 3 to fight for the Albena Cup.
