On Wednesday, Febryary,3 Olimpia Bălţi has taken its way to Albena, Bulgaria, where they will end up the trainings before the second half of the championship. At the same time, Olimpia will compete for the 2010 Albena Cup. In the tourist area of Bulgaria, our players will participate in an international tournament.
The Olimpia squad arrived at the airport 2 hours earlier before the flight, in order to get ready with all the necessary procedures.
Olimpia head coach declared that the team is not going to enjoy the holidays. And the players are excited to work hard on the abroad workout in Albena. Oleg Şişchin is ready to face strong opponents.
Olimpia vice-president took a lot of pictures of the players and was ready to answer all the questions we were curious about.
A very interesting fact is that for numerous Olimpia players this flight became the first in their life. But no one proved to be nervous.
In Bulgaria is a little bit warmer than in Moldova, but is also snowy. While waiting to get their passports done, the footballers, trying not to get bored were telling to each other jokes. Olimpia vice-president, Serghei Chiseliov, explained the reasons for the delay. When everything was done, the squad went to the bus, which was rented for the whole period of staying in Bulgaria. Olimpia took its way to the Golden Sands, a famous city close to Albena. On the way everyone was curious to see a lot of casinos, which looked like a modern Las-Vegas in Bulgaria.
The Moldavian squad was settled in the Astera hotel. But let's see the way the squad got used to their new home for three weeks.
The hotel is really nice, there you have everything you need to be happy and to enjoy your free time. There is a comfortable bed, furniture, a balcony, a casino, swimming pool, sauna, gym, computers with Internet. Also, the players are offered a three-times meal.
In the same hotel will live the Romanian football club Dunărea Galaţi and the Bulgarian National Junior Team, as well as all the clubs competing for the 2010 Albena Cup.
