After the unexpected victory in the last round over Sheriff Tiraspol, Olimpia Bălţi suddenly lost points in the match versus Academia because of the bad weather. Twice leading during the game, Olimpia failed to manage the second consecutive victory in the championship.

The great game and the field possession of the squad from Bălţi during the first half turned out into a beautiful goal managed by Oleg Şişchin just before the break.
