The famous Formula 1 pilot, Michael Schumaher, may become the first football tourist to play in the European Cups. Internet TV SPORTS.md and football club Olimpia proposed to the German pilot the above mentioned offer. ¶
In order to take part in the European cups, the multiple world champion has to become the winner of the contest "Become a football star in a moment" which runs from December, 21 2009 till March,21 2010 on the official site of Olimpia (www.fcolimpia.md/worldstar) .
The winner can become each person between 18 and 60 years old, ready to pay 1 million euros to play in the European Cups.
Olimpia vice-president, Serghei Chiseliov declared that the earned money will be invested in the development of the children football school in Balti. These children will be grateful to Michael Schumaher for helping them.
"Schumaher helps children in many countries through the UNESCO Foundation," said Serghei Chiseliov.
He has also added that the German pilot is the ideal candidate for Olimpia in the European Cups.
"Schumaher loves football and plays it very well! Few years ago he played on the Maracana stadium with the veterans of the Brazilian football. He also played in the same team with Ronaldo and Zico and performed in the Swiss second league with the Ehihens team. It could become an event for him, to perform in the European Cups and make happy so many children in the north of the country, "said Serghei Chiseliov.
Michael Schumaher returned to Formula 1 and joined Mercedes GP team, with a salary of 7 million euros per year. On Januaray, 3 the pilot will turn 41 years old.
Internet TV SPORTS.md and football club Olimpia, made this offer to Michael Schumaher due to the manager Rick Gorne.
Schumaher could come to Moldova next year and could become the event of the year for our country.
